my father doesn’t work anymore. he’s retired. but saves about 40 usd in CLP per month per granddaughter. started 6 years ago. when BTC was at 16k i told him 

bring the next 20 years of 40 usd per month to present value and full port that into BTC. i gifted him the bitcoin pattern by saifedean ammous to show him what was coming

he didn’t listen

I mean he did, at least a bit. he started saving that 40 usd per month in BTC

but i can’t resist telling him:

do you know if you had listened to me you would be 10x by now?

there’s like this inner fire of resentment because he didn’t do it. and I knew what was coming. but the fire dissolves in the recognition that that’s not my wealth. im not in command of it

but still wild to think about it
