mostly, "it just works" I wish Google would leave me alone about Gemini, but other than that the entire OS stays out of my way and keeps plugging along. Plus the photo quality is fantastic and the phones are half the price I've been on Pixel since the first generation and never looked back

Most of them are features Pixel has had for years. I've had call screening and Google Lens for 4+ years, and now with Gemini I actually have AI built into the OS and it works! iOS was better imo until around 2019 or 2020, and I'd still probably go iPhone over any android except pixel

Yeah i’m pretty attached to my iphone ngl. Feels like a switch would be pretty hard but i’ve heard great things about the Pixel. i’ve come to appreciate the opinionated updates with iOS that end up driving user behaviors over time. For many consumers, active choice can be a burden and I think Apple has taken that to heart and generally done a good job with iOS updates over the years
