Serious question:

Why don’t more businesses today run purely on crypto?

Is it legal? Accounting? Tax? Tooling? On/off ramps? 

Why not?

In the US credit cards are king. Users like credit cards because they get rewards and flexibility; businesses like credit cards because customers have increased spending power. Are the fees inefficient? Yes, but it's a tough system to break out of because of network effects. At the same price I'd choose Amex over USDC.

Yeah exactly; I mean I'm excited about crypto use cases so for 4% less I might give it a shot, but not at equal prices

The cc may offer 4% cash back anyways, and merchant may not want to pass all the 3-5% savings on processing back to consumer too

If there are merchants that offer 3-5% lower prices you’d still use your Amex than switch to a coinbase wallet?
