Absolutely epic song bro, always been on my favorites list!!! I did not join @pinetree because they want permission to update my profile to make an account??!!👀😒 I never understand why platforms want so much control over accounts, I think it’s way over reaching personally… Would love to be on the platform making my old daily update videos & have zero issues letting them see who I follow, what I post, even making posts, but NOT changing my profile!!!😤🤷♂️

@ezincrypto — in order to be able to send a cast on your behalf from Pinetree, we need to request a signer key, which also gives permissions to update your profile. We never do this without you explicitly going into settings and updating your bio, etc. This is the nature of signer keys based on how FC is architected That said we’ve gotten this feedback from others and are working to: 1) first enable authenticating into the mini app using just sign in with Farcaster 2) changing the signer request to after you upload a video and want to broadcast a cast. We’ll change the account onboarding process to use SIWF The first one will land next week and then we’ll work on the second. Would this resolve your concerns?
