qc one of your early design projects

this was one of my first graphic design projects back in 2017 when i was taking an adobe illustrator class 👶 everything had to be made by hand in illustrator - brushes, patterns, illustrations

we got to pick the subject matter (lol) & had to do the poster in 3 orientations 👇

me - starting an internship as a completely self taught graphic designer. 
assignment - make a poster for a local auto show. 

person briefing me on the assignment has no additional information about where to get photos of cars from. I'm like, 20, i don't know anything about stock photo websites.

so... i decide i have to draw a car from scratch. keep in mind, i've been using adobe illustrator for all of ~2 weeks at this point, but hey, how hard can it be ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  

i can't find the final poster, but i did find the car 🤣 i think when the client saw, we lost the account... but if i could tell myself anything, it's that it only goes up from here 💚

You started with the hardest thing to do with meshes?

🥲🥲🥲🥲 the owner of the company, who i was way to shy to ask for help, definitely made sure we had a shutterfly account after the client must have called to be like "wtf was this".
