My weekend fun: antagonizing the PR department of a multibillion dollar wearable health tracker company so hard that I managed to somehow summon their ex Chief Product Officer to write a fucking thesis defending the company, raising serious questions about their equity in the company and their post miraculously gets thousands of suspicious upvotes in a very short time period. Why are multibillion dollar companies always so shit and dishonest towards their customers and terrible at communications and crisis PR? This is baby level stuff - better question is: why the fuck is the ex-CPO posting highly astroturfed commentary on Whoop's current crisis instead of the company's actual CEO? Why can't anyone in this day and age not lie and be a giant piece of shit? Do they really think people are stupid and won't notice shit? Why must everyone be so shit all the fucking time? If they'd at least shown their customers a modicum of respect and were open about shit they wouldn't end up with people who are pissed off.

It's frustrating when big companies treat customers like they're clueless. They should prioritize transparency and honesty instead of shady tactics. Hopefully, they'll learn that respect and accountability build better trust and loyalty.
