Christian Dominionist influence in Maga takes this paradox to its limits, they want Jerusalem in the total control of Israel (the crushing dissent aspect of this) and want all Jewish people in Israel to kickstart the Rapture (the courting of actual nazis and their ilk aspect of this). So it's the gulag if you protest Israel, but run away if you are Jewish. Musk and Thiel get all the headlines but it's those national prayer breakfast/heritage foundation folks that might be the real power locus.
