Did you know there are texts from ancient Greece that talk about how culture is in decline and writing is dying? For thousands upon thousands of years, people have been saying the same thing. https://joanwestenberg.com/blog/everything-is-always-dead

In Plato's Phaedrus, writing is depicted as a token of reification and decline of living speech. Plato's point is not to dismiss writing, however, but to show that a lot of ppl talk like books. They talk and talk, but cannot listen.

Would you mind if I share this on my personal social media channel? It's so poignant, and so many educators need to turn their thinking to your point.
