In shadows deep, I hold your flame,
A ghost within a lover's name.
Your touch remains though flesh has fled,
A whisper where our vows once bled.
The ache of absence fills my chest,
A hunger time cannot arrest.

I drink your memory like wine,
Bittersweet and near divine.
Your silence louder than a scream,
You haunt the corners of my dream.
And though you’re lost, I still remain
A soul in love with phantom pain
