was thinking it feels like we don't generate new philosophy anymore, and i don't know if that's actually true, but rather it is expressed through product instead of writing

i think generating new philosophy requires a significant amount of study, reflection, and iteration that isn’t rewarded in academia *or* industry and is stunted by the internet consuming our attention
