The answer is: 

Tipping is overdone and annoying. 

I don’t give a friend $1 when they say something I like. Or If I want to repeat what they said to my friends.

Tipping was a great ‘24 fad, we tried it, we had fun, and it’s time to move on. 

… Unless one of the founders of the several tipping products can prove to me that tipping is really important. I’m open to discussion.

Tipping was annoying when the community made it annoying. 

I respect DEGEN for all they have done for Farcaster, but I don’t think I ever want to go back to the time of peak DEGEN tipping culture. My feed  and kverall FC experience today are much better.

Noice, on the other hand, gives everyone the power to tip without spamming the feed. 

Token distribution is at an all time high across many niche community tokens. 

People are getting rewarded in new and creative ways. 

I just don’t see the downsides. It has only made my experience better over the last month.

I find tipping is way higher signal when it isn’t just about claiming an airdrop, and the sender has to spend something tangible to give the tip
