Has anyone ever done stock/options trading full time? 

For how long? What made you stop?

I’ve traded consistently since the end of 2023 with options 

I was annoyed I didn’t know how to do it so I taught myself 

I think the interesting thing about options is it provides the ability to do something else along with it

If I wasn’t working, my own business / trading would be my full time plans

have you been consistently profitable? what did you learn specifically to get good at it?

Trial and Error for the most part

But I have found for me 9 months is a good timeframe. It gives me multiple earnings calls to either sell the hype before or gamble on good earnings

And if I miss the first quarter I have some time before the time decay fucks me 

I struggle with Puts personally, and recognize I’ve been more successful buying calls

For example I have some Nvidia calls now for Dec of 2027, thought process there was to setup myself for ideally a strong January 2026 sale to start the new year

How’d you learn? How’d you develop a feel for which strike price and expiration to pick?

It has changed my life financially 

The simplest explanation is read the news, get informed, have conviction
