I don't think Comey is guilty of the crimes he has been charged with. In terms of Tish James and John Bolton, I'm not privy to the type information that would allow me to have any idea if they are guilty of the crimes they are being charged with. For example, I have not seen Tish James' mortgage forms. There are some very important differences between the legal issues Trump faced since being elected in 2016 and how he is targeting his political foes currently. You are saying that it is all political retribution. I disagree. Trump is a con man and a grifter. He has been this way his whole life, long before his political career. He also a serial liar. 1.) Trump has faced 5 main cases, 4 of which are criminal, and they occurred in 3 different jurisdictions. It would be quite the vast conspiracy to coordinate all those moving pieces against him in order to conduct some sort of "retribution." Who exactly was coordinating all of that? Does it seem more likely to you that one man (Trump) is a criminal and a fraudster or that there are people from all sorts of political persuasions that stood up to him and all happen to be criminals? 2.) The federal cases against Trump were carried out by a special counsel and Biden did not micro manage his attorney general. Trump on the other hand is plain as day telling Pam Bondi to go after his enemies and there is no special counsel involved. I actually read a lot of legal documentation that was filed by Jack Smith against Trump in those two cases. Did you? The evidence is pretty staggering. 3.) None of the cases Trump is executing against his foes have gotten very far yet, but we did see that Trump lost both of the cases against him that made it through trial before his reelection and one of those cases was a jury trial. 4.) We have seen that experienced attorneys in the justice department have been refusing en mass to carry out these cases against Trump's enemies. The only people willing to do his bidding are very inexperienced types like Lindsay Halligan. Her case against Comey is also very sloppily put together, even though it hinges on essentially 1 sentence of testimony. They didn't have the discovery ready for his hearing the other day even though they had plenty of time. Seems to be grasping at straws to me. 5.) Comey, Tish James, and Bolton all have law degrees and all have practices as lawyers. It seems pretty unlikely to me, particularly in terms of Comey and James, that they would commit the crimes they are accused of when they were in positions that are so heavily scrutinized. Trump on the other hand does not have any legal background. Also know that I am no fan of John Bolton and feel pretty neutral in regards to both Tish James and Comey. Note: political content

I really like how you wrote that, although it seems like you agree with the prosecution of Trump. I disagree with Leticia James prosecution, seems so petty on face. I don’t agree with the pardons from Biden and really don’t agree with Trumps blanket pardons. He should have gone individually. I believe it was a response to the last day pardons of Biden. All that stink like hell One thing is I can tell you hate Trump. :) I can’t hate him more than other spineless politicians. At least Trump doesn’t look try to hide his lies. Most politicians are really good at skirting. Kinda their job. At high level they ALL have it. I think there is real dangerous sensationalism going on and has gone on regarding Trump. The most covered man ever in the world. Most hated man. Crazily, also one of the most idolized behind Christ. I respect your opinion greatly and enjoy these discussions. You are very articulate

Yes, I do agree with the prosecution of Trump. Like I said, both the cases that went through to completion resulted in him losing, so is most likely merit to the other 3 cases are essentially on indefinite pauses currently. I don't agree with all of the pardons that Biden put through, though the bulk of them are for non violent drug charges and those I completely agree with. I think both Biden and Trump are guilty of not looking at their pardons on a case by case basis, like you sort of mentioned. Yes, I do hate Trump. Like I said, he is a serial liar and he is super corrupt. While yes, a lot of Trump's lies and corruption are out in the open, but I don't think that makes it any better per se. There are plenty of things he is hiding though. He's just more shameless this time around because he put more weight on loyalty than anything else, including competence, this time around. MAGA and Trump are also the most hypocritical people I can think of. I don't like hypocrites. I'm not a fan of 99.9% of American politicians either though, and I'm not a fan of the currently Democratic party. Yes, spineless is a good descriptor. The two party system is broken and both parties are in the pockets of corporations. A lot of the issue there is money in politics. Idolizing a politician is not a good thing. MAGA is a cult. You don't see other political persuasions in the USA where people will wrapped their identity in MAGA, get a tattoo of their favorite politicians face, and buy any random merchandise that has a politicians name on it. Etc. This is unhealthy. MAGA and Christian nationalism have essentially done away with the separation of church and state. Trump isn't even a religious guy himself, he just knows that he couldn't win without the evangelicals who form a lot of the base of the Republican party. I could at least tolerate Reagan/Bush Republicans. I can't stand MAGA. I can tell that you've only partially drank the MAGA kool aid, and perhaps that is why this conversation doesn't irritate me like it does with many of that MAGA diehards. So props to that. I appreciate the discussion.
