Born and raised in America and grew up in a town that was 98%+ white. Everyone had straight hair, maybe a few girls had a little wave but i remember being soo self conscious of my hair and as soon as i was old enough to use hair tools i straightening it every day. It wasn't until junior year of high school i really started to even acknowledge I had curls. Now I wear my hair natural pretty much every day but I will style occasionally for an event or special occasions

I like curly hairs. I mean it’s rare to have naturally.
