What allows Base to do 100 TPS whereas Arbitrum only does roughly 30? What is the Base sequencer doing that Arbitrum is not, and what are the trade offs being made? cc @jessepollak

we've been very actively investing in scaling our nodes and how they run. lots more info here: https://blog.base.dev/scaling-base-reaching-50-mgas-in-q2. that said, most of our work is open source and benefits other L2s as well! that said: i think a lot of the day-to-day TPS is much more reflective of demand vs. supply of blockspace. lots of people are using base!
