we've been very actively investing in scaling our nodes and how they run. lots more info here: https://blog.base.dev/scaling-base-reaching-50-mgas-in-q2. that said, most of our work is open source and benefits other L2s as well!
that said: i think a lot of the day-to-day TPS is much more reflective of demand vs. supply of blockspace. lots of people are using base!
