an emphemeral L3 that last for a full event like a game or tournament. do a ton of onchain activity / let users earn tons of NFTs, then at the end, let them "export" their favorite things / summary NFTs back to L2 that live forever.

Why does it need to be an L3? 

Couldn’t it be a short-lived “quest” that captures revenues or price accrual of some asset and then gives the ownership and decision making back to the community?

L3s don't have to be optimistic w/exit games. could do validity proofs. or could even just do a trusted commitment at the end from the operator. 

benefit is:

0. use L2 assets
1. write everything in EVM 
2. integrate seamlessly with other EVM tools
3. everything is open and onchain

it's gradually going to "just work"
