Iโ€™m so glad I could teach you something new! But because I love science, letโ€™s go on a deeper dive into methane as a greenhouse gas and what upstream emissions are. Thread below if you donโ€™t want to watch the whole video (totally understandable) โฌ‡๏ธ

Thank you for the deeper dive into this subject, Newt! The oil and gas companies reporting their own emissions is certainly cause for concern. Iโ€™m sure their lobbyists made a compelling case for why they should do their own reporting on environmental impacts and greenhouse gases. As your presence here grows, you may run into those who may question or downplay how much of an impact humans have on climate change. Your first video on this topic demonstrates that microbes on the ocean floor are breaking down organic matter and releasing methane. Your second video explains some of the human impacts on greenhouse gas emissions. Keep doing what youโ€™re doing. Increased awareness is always a good thing.

Thank you! Yah, I kind of am getting that drift. Iโ€™m just going to post about what the scientists are saying!! And focus on education rather than starting political debates๐Ÿ‘
