when you think about it, censoring an expletive as it is being said in a video is such a strange concept. often the audio is simply muted for the second(s) the word is being said. but increasingly, i have noticed some box (black or gaussian-blur) will be placed on-screen to obstruct the lips of the sayer. it is as if the censor wants to delete the words from the collective consciousness of every single person who is (will be) watching the video
