L-Spark’s “accelerator”: Give up equity, or pay cash, or share your revenue, just for the chance to integrate with their product. It’s not an accelerator. It’s outsourced corporate R&D…funded by founders. You’re not being accelerated. You’re being invoiced. Way to expose this @kazi this is truly wild.

ty for bumping this. it's the problem with the Canadian ecosystem--VCs like to offset risk in very stupid ways.

They’re defeating the purpose of VC. This deflates a founder’s confidence. If I am a founder, I want to give equity / receive capital from someone who believes in me / my product. Mitigating risk like this is borderline predatory.
