I'm finding the "positive sum" language around coins really misleading.

It's literally the opposite. If the way users make money from their content is when other users buy it, it's literally zero sum, financially. Not everyone can be making money, unless external capital is being injected from a another source (which is losing money).

The triple win trade is a myth. Someone has to lose on purpose for it to work. 

(Ie in options markets. Insurance contracts / Hedges. Goal is to NOT have to use them)

those people must exit tho unless they are willing to burn the whole amount, otherwise they are the exit liquidity to fund the content 

i would rather earn money from
Advertisers than see my friends lose money to “support” my content

yes, surface good content & pay creators…

if you want to incentivize the financial benefit of the creator, don’t design it like an options trading platform 

I think the Collectibles auction style is well thought through because bidders place a future value on the content, so the creator can get paid up front

Surface good content. (Valuable)
Get good content paid (transfer value) 

This more finalizes the surfacing IMO which I just don’t like. (Rewards do too, but also it’s kinda different. (I exclude the top 750 from my real world rewards thinking) )
