anvil looks cool! first time i’m hearing about it — do you have any thoughts on it compared to Flask or FastAPI + template engines?

Although I forgot to mention in there that runtime is open source, so you can just host it somewhere else if you want. That's a big plus for me.

I met the Anvil team at PyCon UK in 2017. Let's just say I haven't used Django, Flask or FastAPI ever since. They've done a fantastic job.
