Is there a guide to gating mini app features behind transactions like MiniWord is doing?

hey, i'm pretty sure how @cbeav is doing it is triggering a tx on the client side then sending the txHash to a backend to verify against stuff then mark a flag on the DB, or at least that's how I do it in my apps

everything in miniword is donation-based and transactions are totally unchecked (though i am saving the transaction ids if i ever need them). if i cared, i’d do what you’re saying
