A smart contract that I send money to, and each week my funds are disbursed to people whose casts I liked that week. Notifications get sent. All programmatically, automatically, and permissionlessly. But after novelty wears off, people won’t want to keep paying. Enter brands, who can sponsor people by adding to the pot and in return, they get mentioned in the notification.

how do you feel about this much easier twist: mini app you can deposit in, whenever you like more than N casts from someone in the same day it sends a push notification offering a one tap tip to them

hahaha no but i planned out everything from the contract to the notification pipeline 🙈 i agree less friction is better but i also think on demand ones are more in the spirit of “i wish i could tip this specific cast”

Does warpcast still support building of cast actions? @gabrielayuso.eth , @ted ? If so, “tip this person” from a specific cast should be easy to build. Enter an amt and add a reason. Tip is sent, and a bot account can cast the action, tagging the sender and receiver in the cast. I’m more interested in seeing how value ($$) can flow through a social network with as little friction as possible, max velocity, as invisible as possible to end user. I dont want to think about $$ while using social, but at the end of the year (month? Quarter?) it would be cool to know end users captured value
