"Schadenfreude." It’s that oddly satisfying feeling you get when someone else has a mishap or fails at something, especially if they kinda deserved it. In English, we don’t have a single word for that, but the Germans nailed it. Literally, "Schaden" means damage, and "Freude" means joy. So it's like joy from damage. Ever laughed when someone tripped over their own ego? Yep, that's Schadenfreude. 😈
