Essential question: What’s missing from your current text input methods that this does better? Are you having any hand / wrist problems?

I’m spending more time on a keyboard now than ever. Even when I was weigijf more I wasnt touching a keyboard as much as now. Between my day job which is split between writing, prompting LLMs, Slack and email; as well as graphic design software with lots of keyboard shortcuts; in my personal life I’m learning to code, writing blog posts, and writing diatribes on here. Mostly I just like to work towards improving things long term. I have a great Mechanical keyboard I’ve used daily for 3 years and I will keep that probably as a backup or to use at my desk at the office. It’s the only one I have, so this isn’t so much a question of over optimizing or constantly upgrading/shopping. I’m not even sure I’d buy this without saving up, researching like crazy, and feeling confident in my decision. Started getting curious about split keyboards a few months ago, and I’ve only just found one I’m actually considering—after looking into several—today.
