Of course that’s your contention. You’re new to Farcaster, right? You probably just read some thread on ‘How to Optimize Your Timeline by Hiding Bots.’ So now you think it’s the golden solution. But next week, you’ll be on about ‘boosting authentic engagement,’ and then in a month, it’ll be ‘custom algorithms for power users’ like it’s the answer to everything. And you’ll probably toss in ‘community-driven moderation’ like it’s some brand-new revelation.

how does precoin work? 1. precoins are permissionless memecoin pools of people on Farcaster and X (soon) and any wallet (soon) 2. That person launches a memecoin using a launcher (e.g. on @clanker) 3. PrecoinAI moves the ETH in precoin liquidity pool to auto buy their memecoin, the precoin in the pool gets burned 4. Introducing precoin.fun — a premarket for creator memecoins.  Excited to launch our latest Farcaster mini app on Base! @precoin lets anyone mint a "precoin" — a tradable ERC-20 memecoin representing early belief in a creator's potential to launch a real coin. A permissionless speculation market on social clout. Each precoin has its own liquidity pool and trades freely.  If the creator later launches (e.g. on clanker), the ETH from the precoin pool buys the official coin onchain — and users can burn their precoin to claim the real coin. Anyone can scout and launch a precoin for any caster. Scouting = being the first $1000+ ETH into the LP. Scouts earn 10% of all trading fees on that precoin which can be burned to claim real coin if creator launches one. We’re testing 5 casters today: @ace @horsefacts.eth, @proxystudio.eth @igoryuzo.eth and will be expanding to every Farcaster user soon.
