The new day 1 language from Base feels like a reset. It may feel internally like that is needed. And I get that. But externally, I don’t think it feels that way at all. Of course, people always want growth to be faster. Some people will always complain. But it’s been less than 2 years. So much progress has been made, across so many dimensions. So I would like to see Base tweak the language to something that says “keep going” more than “reset”. I don’t know that we need a new day 1. I think we’re just ready for day 2. It’s ok to say it’s day 2. I love the always day 1 philosophy from Bezos but maybe it’s time to retire that specific meme externally or make your own meme where the day is the year or something. Just my unsolicited 2 cents on a nuanced point. I am mega bullish on Base, as is evidenced by my building on Base. 🔵

i appreciate the love and kindness here for reasons which I *think* will be apparent when it actually happens, it feels like a big new day one for us. i'm excited to celebrate that and recommit to all the work we need to do to bring the world onchain :)
