Day 2 Finding folxs with me unfollowing everyone is HARD AS SHIT. I have seen a few interesting things on the @farcaster home feed yet not what I would say is enough if I was a new person looking for my tribe to actually think I could find folxs here. I find it so funny that I keep getting more and more followers who are MUTE and seem to not engage with anything. Unsure if they are real or bots. Trying to decide the BEST way of matriculating my found family back into my feed. @adrienne @ccarella.eth @pichi @zwillow I know all y’all have such different following counts and follower counts an me truly would love to hear what you did to see how I should plan my own too. That and if anyone else has done this recently please LMK https://farcaster.xyz/jacque/0xb762071f

I tried to rebuild organically based on who I saw in the feed and who engaged with me. But lots of people didn’t engage back anymore once I stopped engaging with their casts (because I wasn’t following anyone and traveling so my usage was way down) I ended up cheating and rebuilding mostly by mutate in group chats. I also gave up on how much following matters. I want my feed to be clean and a lot of folks cast mini apps and random stuff and that’s just not what gets me excited. I tend to mainly follow people I’ve know here for a while or met IRL and learned to mute frames/keywords better. It wasn’t easy. I don’t think it’s perfect. I still think I miss a ton of stuff.

Definitely hard. Then some get the notif that I’ve unfollowed them so when I finally find them, they’ve unfollowed me. :/ I do like the mass unfollow I just wish there was a way to fine my tribe easier like you said.

I think it was a little easier for me because on day 2 I followed a dozen or so people who I already know where posting about AI and then have just been discovering 1 or 2 new people a day through that network.

For whatever reason I always found it harder here on Farcaster to build up. I started with a few I knew, then met you and became part of WAC. I know I don't engage enough anymore but I try to pop in 3 or 4 times a week and see what catches my attention. My feed is full of stuff that feels meh and not my interest
