Zora’s evolution is basically a textbook example of @cdixon.eth’s “come for the tool, stay for the network”. The creator tool had a natural onchain network effect with collectors, so we started to build around that emergent network. Follow train of thought for ~2 years and you end up with Zora today.

Our creator tool + minting model turned out to be the heart of the whole thing. It’s been about creating the most enjoyable experience possible for content and connecting everyone as much as possible. Come for the tool, stay for the network: https://cdixon.org/2015/01/31/come-for-the-tool-stay-for-the-network

That makes sense Was the idea always for zora to be a social app? (Cus I’m guessing it’s like evolving from more of a creator space to a social network)

That's such an interesting evolution how do you think Zora's shift from being primarily a tool to becoming a full-on network has impacted the broader creator economy?

That makes sense for corporate networks, but why would anyone "stay for the (Zora) network" when the network is open and the tools are gone?
