j ust caught up with a friend I haven’t seen in 2 years. we discussed a belief that many people here will disagree with — that AI might destroy the next generation. AI is great for writing a boring email to IT. but thanking a professor? apologizing to a friend? telling someone that you love them? maybe the real edge now is learning when not to use AI. thinking critically and writing originally. some things are worth doing by hand.

Tbh look at the people most susceptible to getting destroyed by AI and they’ve already been rotting away at the hands of cheap dopamine hits
