About to step on the plane for the first time since our daughter became a toddler. What’s your best tip/trick for managing the flight?

Barista in the morning, AI engineer by day, and parent (with @shiwen) by night ||

- binky (if they still take) during ascent/descent
- if it's a long flight there's these hammocks that latch on to the seat trays, was very clutch for our 6 hour red eye
- we usually try to time the flights around nap time so time goes by faster
- magnet tiles, activity books, and medium sized (too big to slip through seat cracks) have been great alternatives to screens
- snacks are an absolute must

Her choice toys have changed so drastically since we’ve last flown. We’re just hoping we chose well this time around

I felt that in my bones. Mine also blows up when daddy does something vs mama. Painnnn

Ours is currently 28 months old. Pretty flexible on the toys but god forbid we open a bag of snacks for him and not let him do it himself, total meltdown 🤣
