i also don’t know how this advice would apply for most men bc they have short hair already so contact is inevitable.

Nothing special but I do aim for stuff that doesn’t have sulfates. That always irritates my skin

the regular conditioners that most people use aren't meant for use on scalp bc it causes greasy roots and buildup. 

(there are conditioners specifically made for other types of uses but most of us dont use those unless we have some skin/hair condition that requires use of it or you're doing fancy hair spa lol)
