Quick Degen app update 👇 After many conversations with you, two things keep coming up: phone verification and rewards. I agree — we need a rewards system that feels fair and actually helps grow the app. This could mean rewarding you for bringing in others, variations of tip allowances, or even view-based rewards. We are still exploring what makes the most sense. Phone verification has to stay — it’s the only real way to keep rewards meaningful and avoid farming. The vault is too confusing, but simpler systems with clear limits could work better. I know you want to reward people you like and earn too — and we can get there. Big thanks to @yekim.eth for grinding through this idea maze with me. Appreciate all of you—keep the feedback coming 🙏

Interesting idea, but feels a bit overengineered. Most people just don’t care enough about privacy—if they did, we wouldn’t still have Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.

Most people might not, but many do, so I think it still makes sense to offer that as an alternative option alongside a phone number. Unless it's too difficult to implement, though it doesn't seem that way based on the docs.
