I think one of the main issues is that the Relay bridge has no real liquidity for that volume, so it is back to the 7 day bridge back to Base, which is still where I think the majority prefer to hold degen.

Interesting to see if that problem gets solved for this Season cuz then there is a freer flow between Layers and that may inspire more confidence in the L3.

Just added some liquidity to the Relay bridge for instant transfers from Degen chain to Base! We recommend using @proxyswap to swap to WETH and keep funds on the Degen chain though. Also, you can use @relay to earn 0.25% when bridging from Base to Degen. Give it a try, and we’ll add more liquidity if needed!

They asking 5% fee for the swap. 
I don't think that's a reasonable cost that I have to pay only to bridge it to L2. 
The only option is the 7 days old ways.

In my opinion  adding more liquidity in the bridge can improve the flow and increase users' trust in these transfers. I suggest that users keep an eye on liquidity and rates to make better decisions.

using @relay comes with almost a 5% fee. But if you go with the Degen standard bridge, there are no fees at all.
