Hugs to everyone who has experienced war and is having a visceral reaction to the sound of fireworks, because it’s associated with bombs, drones, and artillery. 🫂 Grateful for noise-cancelling headphones - they’ll help me tonight when the whole city sounds like it’s being blown up.

I know we could. We could survive without so many things. 8 months straight of fireworks in Baltimore City after the Baltimore Riots. I had them every night after dinner. Whether I wanted them or not... and I was told that was because of social reform and revolution - that it was for a good cause. So I am sorry to those who do not want them. I know how that feels to not want something and get it anyway.
