Just browsed through ~50 mini apps and realized none of them had ads. How are builders monetizing on here? Or is this still just for fun..?

Beniverse.fun is a full site mini app we converted. You can check it out. Communities can monetize through lots of means like our NFT sales, which I actually turned into a raffle to give back 3 ethereum to 3 winners. We have many things on there, but I am most excited for our next one (after our chess game release), because I want to help people from all over the world communicate on here and it is a mini app aimed at that. I also started /treattime personally to help us start thinking about inclusive video (I captioned that rascal video to try and showcase that). Not everyone will caption, there are no hard rules on there - you give something a treat, that's it. Anyway, you want my answer - most communities fund these projects primarily out of their own pockets and hope to make something that finally takes off. Most of these communities are barely hanging on and I feel for them all, but all we can do is keep building and thinking about how to better help people in the space.
