Roast my Japanese v2 π Added subs and a title to learn CapCut Japanese-English bilingual subs are a huge pain tbh. The transcription is great but the reverse word order means that I have to merge the automated subs and re-translate everything myself. It also means I have to listen to every piece of awkward intonation or annunciation five or six times as I fix the subtitles....torture for the foreign language learner. Nonetheless, this is probably the way to go (h/t @ted for the idea)

Really, cool! Now, imagine a world where this dual layer multi language captioning is done inside the native app hosting the video, both enabling global communication and respecting the native written language. Bring the water to the rest of the world, and they will drink, force them all to pay for and learn cap cut... not so much. Sorry, I know this wasn't your point of the video, but you are highlighting one of my topics of interest perfectly. Well done.

that would be cool (but it'd have to let me edit because the out of the box experience doesn't cut it and we might not be there yet unless they're using quite strong AI)
