as more people buy your post, MC goes up. as they sell, it goes down. you earn 1% on all the volume. you can think about it like a market for the attention the post is getting!

this isn't that different from how centralized social media works today - except for they are doing all the valuing in private then monetizing with ads. by moving the valuing to the free market, we make it open and can redirect the monetization to you.

This switch used to be called beta mode, so when they changed it to base mode, I thought maybe it was available to everyone.
