The tree of human existence can only reach toward the sky when its roots have sunk deep into the darkness.
Joy, is the luminous part of our being, like branches that stretch toward the sun and dance in the breeze. But sorrow is a journey inward, into the silence that confronts us with our bare truth.
Shallow joy, is like a rootless tree, beautiful, yet fragile. And sorrow without hope is like roots with no branches, bound to the earth, yet fruitless.
A person reaches balance only when they have learned to live in the light and find meaning in the dark, the taller the tree of the soul grows, the deeper its roots must reach. This is the law of growth: pain and joy are both teachers, and together they illuminate the path to awakening. 14 replies

That’s so true, my friend. I believe we should see it this way: the body and the soul must grow in parallel ,otherwise, life’s balance is lost.
When only the body grows, the soul remains weary and empty; and when only the soul soars, the body is left behind, unable to keep up.
A complete human being is someone who nurtures the body with care and movement, and the soul with awareness, peace, and meaning.
They are like the wings of a bird ,without one, true flight is impossible. 1 reply
