Life is a master of surprises
just like a teacher who knows exactly which part of the lesson is most difficult and chooses to test us from there.
Life does the same—
it surprises us with challenges we never saw coming.
But it’s through those very tests that we discover how much we’ve truly learned.
Pain that doesn’t destroy us often makes us stronger
though that strength sometimes comes at the cost of things we deeply love.
Great sorrow demands a greater soul.
And that’s the story of many of us who’ve faced countless challenges in life.

In 2019, Luis Enrique, then coach of the Spanish national football team, lost his 9-year-old daughter, Xana, to bone cancer.
Xana had a beautiful, loving bond with her father
always by his side during championships and victories.
Losing her could have broken him.
But Enrique was someone who had truly learned life’s lessons.
