i don't know if it feels right to journal here that's what i hate most about social media balkanization, nothing has the magic twitter did which made it feel okay to just share and not worry about 'personal brand' or w/e

Personal brand ruins it, Monetization ruins it. Just have to do your thing and not care but it’s discouraging in a dopamine fueled field like this.

that's very true. Old Twitter / Tumblr gave safe spaces to post and create online without people thinking of "your brand" I guess having a burner account is an answer but it doesn't feel authentic, and you should haven't to that. le sigh.
