Yoga and meditation: what is the connection and why one without the other is like tea without water 💯
Sometimes people write to me: “Asya, I just want to do yoga, to stretch my body, meditation is something incomprehensible...”.
And someone on the contrary: “I just want to calm down, and your ‘downward facing dogs’ - it's not for me”.
And I understand.
But the truth is that yoga and meditation are about the same thing.
If you go to the roots, yoga was originally created to prepare the body and mind for meditation.
All the asanas, breathing, balance - this is not the final, but only the beginning.

And now you sit in silence with your eyes closed and suddenly, for the first time all day, you feel good.
