fc risks getting drowned out at the app level as cbw doubles down on crypto experiments & aggressively funds & seeds projects that pull mouths, apps & devs away jesse’s vision is clearly crypto-first. he knows any sticky, differentiated & retained daus are downstream of that loyalty outside of the og thousand is paper-thin—especially among those who’ve felt overlooked for years builders will always follow tools, support & distribution. and let’s be honest: no one’s coming to fc to make shorts. every other social platform does it better with more support & distribution—plus, we’re crypto people; we kind of avoid cameras by default right now, new creators are here because they’re getting paid $200–$1,200 a week. we say crypto folks only extract—but let’s see how that narrative holds when those checks stop & engagement falls off imagine if that budget had gone toward migrating CT talent & crypto-friendly tech twitter instead? they will say “how do you know we’re not doing this?” once again, if you don’t control your own narrative, others will write it for you meanwhile, maybe 3 people outside that cohort have ever retained or brought in new users—yet that cohort sees the minority share of payouts every non-crypto person has churned. and while it’s true, most crypto people have also churned, if you’re sitting on crypto rails with 100m in the bank, who are you pushing into? the answer is crypto; the answer has always been crypto no sustainable flywheel here; we needed to keep trying & experimenting (but we pivoted to video instead) now we’re in potentially our final catalystic fc bull run & our platform is overran with get ready with me videos & lifestyle pictures protocol will live on but what a ride

still think the best case scenario for fc is MANY micro economies/communties let it thrive simply bc of the open social graph, and let some apps have millions of users while others have 500
