Hear me out, I don’t want another wallet to fund and manage. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad we are getting something new, but I already have a “Farcaster wallet” and a “Zora wallet” and a “Rainbow wallet” and adding another I need to be aware of and fund and move funds is just not it.

I agree with this but also strongly disagree. I much rather have Base wallet as the only public/hot wallet and stop using zora wallet and Farcaster wallet, etc. Ability to access social protocols from the wallet is a huge unlock and better value prop. App-specific wallets will be rendered as redundant. Think about banks: no one would bank with one if they don’t connect to your bill vendors, credit cards; payroll systems etc so why use app specific wallets?

I feel like services like privy and the teams implementing it should allow us to use an existing wallet if we have one. I like the smart wallet thing for onboarding of course, but I also like using existing wallets.
