Trump claims Democrats weaponized the Justice Department against him between his two terms. I would say that based on the fact that two of his cases were/are state level (Stormy Daniels case and Georgia election interference case) that it lends credence to the fact that there is/was likely some merit to the two federal level cases against him.

That said, going after Act Blue is pretty petty stuff, especially considering the type of stuff that was going on with the PACs for his recent campaign.
