@icetoad.eth according to this article, it seems that the majority of tariffs are being eaten by importers. I think they are aware that people cannot bear the costs at current. I do expect prices to rise at some point but maybe not until there is more liquidity flowing.

That's not what I was seeing reported. My research showed 20% importer, 30% retailer, 50% consumers

Why aren’t we seeing this in cpi? My only question? It seems there are forces of raising prices for tariffs and forces resisting passing prices to the consumer for the sake of Trump’s Favor. 

According to the article I read the Walmart Chief Officer said they were taking losses on net on tariffs. I wonder if their Q2 earnings has come out to verify that.
