The more aggressive version is people posing as representatives of a company, usually hiring, investing, or BD, to steal money or compromise credentials/computers

The extreme version which we’ve seen among our design partners (since crypto is the most hostile trust environment), is getting a company’s social platform page taken down as a result of reports from fake users. Then ransoming, phishing, and/or replacing the page with their own page to attempt to scam potential users/employees/investors as the company
