As an observer of a foreign country’s politics, I now have a confirmed, fact-checked opinion: The US administration lies on the Iranian conflict (cutting short of qualifying them as simply liars, but there is plenty data to that bias).

The lie is about the refusal to negotiate on the Iranian side. There are multiple open doors to negotiate, under condition of ceasefire. The US and Israeli government are the ones who refused negotiating.

And of course, there is still need now to find a way for Iran to *not* get nuclear armament. Now probably delayed, but what of their will? Isn’t it American to claim that if you want you can?

I’ll be asking my government to condemn and act. And I have little hope these gutless marginally elected representatives do more than “call for desescalation”.

Nah, nothing is going to change, maybe the players (as new world powers are emerging while others are dwindling). The West supports bullying because they've been sold the lie that it's what power is about

And by the way, looking at the absence of condemnation from any country I am "involved" with gives little hope anything's gonna change. Most of the West supports the bully.

The US government built their power on lies and propaganda, so its not surprise that they're carrying on their lies. They knew they had no reason to bomb Iran but lied an obvious lie to justify the strike, like they've done several times before to several other countries. They claim other countries are threats to the world while they've been the threat all along
