I believe it’s a marketing scam from Robinhood to call their newly launched tokenized shares - “tokenized shares” Because they’re not! They’re just indexed tokens tracking price of underlying assets. You don’t own any stock in the company if you buy it yet majority of people will think they do. And even though it doesn’t matter because they only buy and sell - it’s bad marketing practice to mislead people. Tokenized shares - is misleading name for anything not constituting ownership of the shares on chain.
